The city itself consist of three main areas that we know of.

The network of bridges combined with the white stone used to build creates a kind of a latticework of the city when viewed from a distance, earning it its nickname the Navigator's Veil 1.

The isles and the tall buildings on them are connected by bridges at various heights, including the two main bridges that lead to mainland Vylbrand via the Zephyr and Tempest Gates. The city itself was built on the various isles and islets within the bay, and due to this lack of space has spread upwards rather than outwards. To its west spreads the expanse of the Indigo Deep and to the south the Rhotano Sea, and on the land side is the region of La Noscea. PagingI am currently considering a rewrite of the maps to be a little more accurate and to include the location of where the B ranks spawn.Limsa Lominsa (リムサ・ロミンサ in Japanese) is a city-state located on a bay called the Galadion Bay on the south-western shore of the island of Vylbrand, just north of the Gods' Grip. Sea of Clouds is still by far the worst area to get your weekly hunt though. After I figured out this pattern I can usually find my weekly hunts in 10 minutes at the most. Lycidas will show up on the first island and the one with the Garleans on it (NW & SE), Omni will show up on the islands with the various dragons and the chimerical critters (NE & SW).Hopefully this helps people out cutting down on their hunting times. I am not sure which of the two will show up on those islands near the entry to Neverreap (since it's sort of on the border between the two).Azys Lla: To my knowledge, a B rank never appears on the Flagship (perhaps not any of the hunts according to the maps I linked). Squonk will generally appear on the SE side of that line, and Sanu Vali of Dancing Wings will appear to the NW side of that line. So imagine similar to CWH there is a line crossing the zone from the NE to the SW. Gigantopithicus will show up on the east side of the map, and Pterygotus on the west.Sea of Clouds: Everyone's favorite zone to hunt in. Scarecrow generally shows up on the left side of that line while Scitalis will be on the right.Dravanian Hinterlands: This one is cut into two halves by the big river in the center.

I have never seen either inside the caves leading to the Churning Mists personally (though you will sometimes see A ranks in there).Churning Mists: Draw a line cutting the map in two over Asah. I'm just hoping to help people cut down on hunt times.Coerthas Western Highlands: If you were to picture a diagonal line going from NW to SE across the zone, Alteci (the mylodon looking one) will generally appear on the left side of the diagonal, Kreutzet (the archaeornis looking one) will appear on the right.Dravanian Forelands: Gnath Cometdrone will generally appear in the plains part of the map, Thextera in the forests side.

This comes from another thread where it seems like it's not common knowledge that each HW zone is divided into two areas where a B rank might show up.This is based on my personal observations over the months and the maps found here:Please feel free to correct me on anything I might have incorrect. I did a brief search for this if it had been posted before, and I didn't see it anywhere.
